  I heard about it when I came in to work. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the images and I was horrified. My daughter had left her tv on and when I passed her room the image of the plane hitting the tower was on.

  I just want you to know how badly I too feel for what you are going through. Your mother sounds so confused to me, much like my own mother. I totally understand your need for her to make a commitment to you but I doubt that she is able to. Many women are so dependant on a man. Even if the relationship is difficult, they would rather suffer through that than live alone. That is the case with my mother. Thankfully her husband hasn't interfered with our relationship yet. But if that ever happened he would have to deal with her children.

  It always amazes me how a family member, especially a parent, can behave like this, for what? For an organization that isn't even the truth. I don't believe for a moment that this is what God wants of us, to basically withold love and affection from their own children.

  If I remember right you got married this summer. I hope the two of you really cherish each other. Take care.

  here in oz the graphic pictures via cnn have brought us up to the minute with the horrific scenes you guys in the us are experiencing.

  I left work early because I was so upset but I hadn't seen any footage of the disaster until I came home. My daughter had left her tv on and the very moment I went passed her room I saw the plane crash into the tower. I was totally horrified. It truly was surreal.

  The following music I realize not everyone will like. I bought Marian Anderson's Brahms Alto Rhapsody LP when I was in my 20's. I could never find it on CD at any store. Couldn't even order it. Lo and behold I find it on YouTube. I think it's a beautiful piece. You have to consider that it was probably recorded in the 30's.
